With 20 plus years experience in the film industry James has progressed through the ranks in the camera department to Director of Photography and Stills Photographer.
 
His passion is for creating beautiful moving images however he does find himself directing projects from time to time.

He also co owns a production company - The Hood and Co who create visual content for brands in Aotearoa.
 
He has helped shape the company as it is today with a mixture of creative flair, organisation, business strategy and team management. 
 
When not happily creating, he can be found upskilling over a Masterclass, at the gym or enjoying a beer at the Gypsy Tearoom.
